Kelley Jones added a dose of gothic horror and mystery to the superhero genre while redefining Deadman and Batman for an all new comics audience. Batman fans once again saw the character as a fearsome creature of the night. His heavy uses of black, fine textured patterns, exaggerated build, and extra long Bat ears gave Batman a distinctive look for the late 20th century. Like Adams, Aparo, and Wrightson before, Jones's radical approach made the character his own. Click the image or title below to view the artwork.
